1. General

1.1 These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to all offers, products, orders, agreements and deliveries made or concluded by Pien’s Tables via www.pienstables.com.
1.2 By placing an order via www.pienstables.com, the customer (“Customer”) agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
1.3 Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order.

1.5 Pien’s Tables reserves the right to amend or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version applicable to the order will be the one published on the website at the time of purchase.

2. Agreement and Orders

2.1 By placing an order, the Customer makes an offer to enter into a purchase agreement with Pien’s Tables.
2.2 Once the order has been processed, the Customer will receive a confirmation email confirming acceptance of the order. Only upon receipt of this confirmation does a binding agreement arise.
2.3 After an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled, adjusted or combined with another order.
2.4 Prices are subject to change. Prices agreed upon at the time of purchase are binding unless an evident pricing error has occurred. In such a case, Pien’s Tables reserves the right to correct the pricing and will inform the Customer accordingly.
2.5 If Pien’s Tables is unable to deliver the order, the Customer will be contacted and offered the option to cancel the order. Upon cancellation, the Customer will receive a full refund.
2.6 Pien’s Tables reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at any time without prior notice, including but not limited to cases of suspected fraud or stock unavailability.
2.7 All products are subject to availability. Pien’s Tables reserves the right to notify the Customer if an item is out of stock or delayed.

3. Payment and Payment Methods

3.1 Pien’s Tables accepts the following payment methods:
• Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
• Apple Pay
• iDEAL
• Bancontact
3.2 All product prices shown on the website include VAT (where applicable) but exclude shipping costs and any customs duties or import fees.
3.3 Payment is due at the time of placing the order. Orders will only be processed after full payment has been received.
3.4 All transactions are processed securely. Pien’s Tables is not responsible for any costs or charges (such as bank or currency conversion fees) applied by the Customer’s payment provider.

4. Shipping and Delivery

4.1 Pien’s Tables ships from the Netherlands using PostNL, DHL or GLS.
4.2 Shipping costs vary per country and will be displayed at checkout after entering the delivery address.
4.3 Orders are typically dispatched within 24–48 hours after purchase. During high-demand periods, dispatch times may be longer.
4.4 Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on the destination. Pien’s Tables cannot be held responsible for delays caused by customs procedures or other external factors.
4.5 It is the Customer’s responsibility to provide a complete and correct shipping address at the time of purchase. Pien’s Tables is not responsible for delays, additional shipping costs, or lost packages resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information. Any costs arising from reshipment or address correction will be charged to the Customer. Pien’s Tables reserves the right to wait for the return of the initial shipment before resending the order to a corrected address.
4.6 Pien’s Tables takes great care in packaging and shipping all orders. If a package is lost or damaged during transport, please contact us at contact@pienstables.com so we can assist in resolving the issue with the carrier. The risk for loss or damage passes to the Customer only once the order has been delivered to the Customer.

5. Duties and Taxes for Non-EU Countries

5.1 For shipments to countries outside the European Union, the Customer is responsible for all import duties, customs fees, and local taxes. Payment of these fees may be necessary to release the order from customs.
5.2 Pien’s Tables is unable to advise on the amount of such duties and taxes. The shipping company will contact the Customer once the purchase arrives at customs.
5.3 If the Customer refuses to pay import fees or fails to collect the shipment, Pien’s Tables reserves the right to charge the Customer for all costs incurred, including return shipping.

6. Returns & Refunds

6.1 Pien’s Tables accepts returns within 14 days from the date of delivery. Please refer to our Return Policy at https://pienstables.com/policies/refund-policy for detailed instructions.
6.2 Please mind the following information when returning your order:

  • You have 14 days to return your order, starting from the moment of delivery.

  • Returning your order is at your own expense.

  • Go to our return portal to start your return process. Insert your order number and the email associated with your account, click “Find Your Order” and follow the steps. Please attach your return label securely to your package.

6.3 As soon as we have received the return, the item(s) will go through a quality control check. Once the return has been accepted, all successfully returned items will be credited to the payment method used for the original purchase.
6.4 We aim to process all returns within 14 business days. If you have any questions about your return, please contact contact@pienstables.com.
6.5 Returned items must be new, unused, unwashed, and returned in their original packaging with all Pien’s Tables tags attached. Items that are worn, damaged, stained, or altered in any way will not be accepted and may be returned to the Customer at their expense.
6.6 Items must be packed securely to ensure safe transit. Pien’s Tables is not responsible for damage that occurs during return shipment.

7. Product Information

7.1 Pien’s Tables aims to display all products as accurately as possible. However, slight variations in colour, texture, or finish may occur due to natural materials or production processes. Such variations are not considered defects and do not constitute grounds for a refund.

8. Liability

8.1 Pien’s Tables shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of income, profit, reputation, or data.
8.2 Pien’s Tables’ total liability in connection with any purchase shall in no event exceed the purchase price of the product in question.
8.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits Pien’s Tables’ liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded under applicable law.

9. Force Majeure

9.1 Pien’s Tables shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, strikes, lockouts, transport interruptions, governmental actions, pandemics, or disruptions in energy or telecommunication networks.
9.2 In the event of such force majeure, Pien’s Tables will make reasonable efforts to fulfill its obligations as soon as reasonably possible.

10. Intellectual Property

10.1 All images, designs, texts, trademarks, and materials displayed on www.pienstables.com are the intellectual property of Pien’s Tables and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
10.2 No part of the website may be copied, reproduced, distributed, or publicly used without the prior written consent of Pien’s Tables.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

11.1 Pien’s Tables processes personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
11.2 Personal information provided by the Customer will only be used for order processing, communication, and — where consent has been given — marketing purposes.

12. Complaints

12.1 If you have a complaint, please contact us at contact@pienstables.com. 

13. Governing Law and Disputes

13.1 All agreements and disputes between Pien’s Tables and the Customer are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
13.2 Any disputes shall be submitted exclusively to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
